May 16, 1918 - The Triumph of the Weak

Today, apparently during a work break, Mary goes to see a movie at the Ruby Theatre with sister Nora.  She does not identify the movie but The Triumph of the Weak starring Alice Joyce was playing that day.  The movie has probably been lost since 1918.  More information about the movie at IMDB. 

Alice Joyce, born 1890, died 1955, appeared in many films from 1910-1928, choosing to retire at the dawn of the talkie era.

The Ruby Theatre was located at 618 Market Street and was open from 1914-1927
