There is much happening on the front page of The Philadelphia Inquirer. The main headline continues to be war news: "British and French Throw Germans Back in Desperately Fought Battles; Austria May Disarm; Turks Talk Peace".
Also, the first nationwide experiment of daylight saving time ends today: "Clocks of Nation Stopped an Hour for Lagging Sun - Seven Month Test of Daylight Saving Declared Success - Railroad Trains Remain Motionless for Hour; Big Saving in Fuel".
And even though the message may not have reached Mary's church in time ("Sunday, and still we are unable to go to Mass."), flu-related restrictions on the opening of certain businesses and public places are being rescinded.
