August 10, 1918 - Kathlyn Williams

Today Mary goes to the movies with sister Nora and friend Edyth Radis to see Kathlyn Williams (1879-1960) in We Can't Have Everything.  Kathlyn Williams appeared in multiple silent films starting in 1908 and a few talkies, retiring from acting in film in 1936.  In many of her roles she appeared fearless with interactions with animals.  Two good biographies appear at Columbia University's Women Film Pioneers Project and Silent Hollywood.com.

As with so many other films of the era, We Can't Have Everything has apparently been lost.
